Amicus wins Closed Stroke Play event
A total of 88 players braved the heat for top honours at the Limpopo Closed Stroke Play Championship 2024.
POLOKWANE – Amicus De Beer is the new champion of the Limpopo Closed Stroke Play Championship 2024.
De Beer, from the Kameeldoring Golf Club won the championship, played at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday, with scores of 71 and 69.
A total of 88 players braved the heat for top honours.
The overall champion was De Beer (four under par) and division winners were Neil Rathmann (three under par) in the mid-amateur division. Riaan Piek was senior champion at nine over par, and Morgan Allison (three over par) was the junior champion.
