15 people seriously injured in N11 collision

The N11 between Groblersdal and Marble Hall is closed and motorists are advised to use the R25 as an alternative route.

POLOKWANE – Emergency services are currently on the scene of an incident that left 15 people seriously injured.

The Department of Transport and Community Safety’s spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene said the N11 between Groblersdal and Marble Hall is currently closed as a result.

The orange line indicates slow moving traffic on the N11, according to Google’s live traffic map.

“The incident occured after a truck jacknifed in the middle of the road. The stationary truck was then hit by another vehicle, resulting in fifteen people sustaining serious injuries,” she said.

Motorists are advised to use the R25 road as an alternative route.
