TAKE NOTE: Load-shedding to continue until Friday
Stage 6 will be implemented from 16:00-22:00 this evening once again with other stages expected in between.
POLOKWANE – Despite ongoing negiotations, Eskom said load-shedding will continue until Friday morning.
The power utility said some workers have started reporting for duty at power stations but there is still a high level of absenteeism.
As some generators are unable to return to service, Eskom will implement Stage 6 load-shedding from 16:00 to 22:00 this evening and Stage 4 will return from 22:00 to midnight.
This is how load-shedding will pan out:
Today:
Stage 6 – 16:00-22:00
Stage 4 – 22:00-00:00
Thursday:
Stage 2 – 00:00 – 05:00
Stage 4 – 05:00 – 00:00
Friday:
Stage 2 – 00:00 – 05:00
Eskom said that the risk of load-shedding changing stages at any time remains.
