Cold front to affect temperatures in Polokwane this week

According to People's Weather's forecast, temperatures will start to drop in the city on Wednesday as Polokwane will reach a high of 20ºC. 

POLOKWANE – Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-teens this week as a cold front passes over South Africa.

The South African Weather Service said a cold front will reach the Western Cape buy tonight (June 13). This will cause high rainfall in the south-western parts of the Western Cape which will also lead to a significant drop in temperatures.

“This cooling will spread eastwards, reaching Limpopo, Mpumalanga as well as KwaZulu-Natal between Wednesday (June 15) and Thursday (June 16),” a statement read.

According to People’s Weather’s forecast, temperatures will start to drop in the city on Wednesday as Polokwane will reach a high of 20ºC.

Thursday and Friday will be the coolest days of the week at just 17ºC.

A 10% chance of rain has also been forecast for Wednesday.

Partly cloudy conditions are forecast for Tuesday through Thursday, while sunny conditions are expected on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to warm up from Saturday.
