POLOKWANE – Multi-murder accused, Themba Dube will go on trial in the Limpopo High Court: Polokwane Division on 16 to 27 January 2023.
Dube, who is originally from Gwanda Mpaya village in Zimbabwe appeared before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court earlier today (May 24) on seven counts of kidnapping, seven counts of rape, seven counts of murder and a count of illegal immigration.

He was arrested on November 3 in possession of a suspected stolen cellphone that belonged to a woman who was kidnapped in Lebowakgomo in October 2021.
Dube was in custody when investigations led to the discovery of seven women’s bodies dumped at different locations in Seshego, Polokwane, Mankweng, and Westenburg policing areas.
He would lure the women with promises of employment.

NPA Regional Spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said Dube will remain in custody until his trial.
