PHS victorious on home ground

Hoërskool Pietersburg's first netball team thrashed Hoërskool Louis Trichardt with 32-2 in the Limpopo School Netball League played at PHS's netball courts on May 7.

POLOKWANE – Playing in front of the parents and guardians, the PHS team made use of their home-turf advantage as they dominated the match in all the stages.

Goal attacker and shooter Ruve Erasmus and Zoe Dunster van den Heerven proved themselves valuable as they scored crucial points for their team in the first and the second stages of the match.

Team coach Melandie Snyman credited the victory to the player’s hard work and dedication to the game. “This was our second match of the league and we are happy to have won the duel. We are just coming back from Bosveld Intervasity where we had a good run in all the matches. We prepared well for the match, it was a collective effort and we look forward to other matches in the league.”
