POLOKWANE – Mothers are the salt of the earth and keep families functioning and every Mothers Day is an opportunity to celebrate them.

Today marks Mothers Day all across the world and Review spoke to mothers about what it means to them to be a mother:

Dikgang Nxumalo – Being a mother is the most precious thing ever. From the moment you wake up to the time you go to sleep, everything revolves around them. Motherhood is an amazing gift .
Jessica Baber – Being a mother means you get lots of kisses and hugs. It requires a lot of patience but it’s a joy to do. Thoroughly worth it.
Khethani Mushwana – Being a mother means the world. It is not easy but it’s the most rewarding thing you can ever do. You are surrounded by so much love.
Mudzunga Mathivha – Being a mother means having love and care. It means being available to listen and help build the character of my children, also teaching them to be responsible.
