Operating hours at traffic and licensing centres to be extended
The extended hours is to help curb the current backlog with regards to applications and renewals of driver's licences.
POLOKWANE – There is some good news for residents who have to renew their driver’s licences.
Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said in a statement that the municipality will extend the operating hours of the traffic and licensing centres in Aganang, Ladanna and Mankweng.
The current grace period for renewals ends on May 5, however, the extended hours will be in effect until the end of the month.
“From Tuesday (May 3) to May 31, the hours will be extended in an effort to deal with the backlog with regards to applications and renewals of driver’s licences,” he explained.
Operating hours:Â
- Weekdays: 08:00-18:00.
- Saturday: 08:00–15:00
- Sunday: 08:00–14:00.
