Two people killed in head-on collision on the R101

Transport media liaison officer Mike Maringa said one of the vehicles lost control due to wet weather and slippery roads.

LIMPOPO – Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a sedan and a loading van earlier this evening (March 25).

Transport media liaison officer Mike Maringa said the collision happened on the R101 near the Sassa building in Modimolle.

“One of the vehicles allegedly lost control due to wet weather and slippery roads and collided with an on-coming vehicle,” he said.

Maringa said both drivers were killed on impact
