POLOKWANE – Multi-murder accused, Themba Dube will next appear in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court in April on kidnapping and murder charges.

Dube is accused of kidnapping and murdering seven women from Polokwane and surrounding areas and was positively linked to one murder case after he was found in possession of a cellphone belonging to a woman who was reported missing.

Once linked to her disappearance, Dube reportedly confessed to killing her, and six other women, and led police to various locations in the city where he had dumped their bodies.

His case is expected to be moved to the Limpopo High Court: Polokwane Division.

Residents in Seshego continue to support the victim’s families by gathering outside the court this morning, calling for no bail.

The community says Dube should not be granted bail because he was ‘intentional about committing murder’.

The matter was postponed to 12 April as the court is still waiting for confirmation of DNA results from two families.
