Two injured in truck incident in Wolkberg
Two men were injured when the truck they were travelling in overturned.
LIMPOPO – A truck which was transporting timber overturned along a gravel road in the Wolkberg area on Monday afternoon (February 21).
ER24’s communication officer Russel Meiring in a statement said ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 18:20 to find the truck lying on its side in the roadway.
A provincial ambulance was already on scene, he added.
“Medics assessed the two male occupants and found that they had sustained moderate injuries. They were treated and then transported to a provincial hospital for further medical care.”
Meiring concluded that the details surrounding this incident are unknown, but that local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
