Lehlogonolo pens importance of mental health in relationships

Author Lehlogonolo Manyama says her book Love Affairs is a practical guide for good communication and getting what you want in a relationship.

POLOKWANE – The recently published book, she says, will allow first-time readers to learn about the importance of mental health in a relationship.

The chemical engineer by profession says she was inspired to write the book through the strength she regained after suffering from melancholy. “I wanted to inspire others who have experienced the same feelings I did.”

Author Lehlogonolo Manyama recently released the book for the love month.

This book is Lehlogonolo’s second and is a continuation of her first book Inspiring Lives, Changing Lives which also emphasises mental health in relationships. “The process of writing my second book was pretty easy as I already have connections and readers,” she says.

As an author, Lehlogonolo says she was challenged by self-discouragement, but she always picks herself up and made sure she finished what she started. “A lack of publishing funds and finding the right publisher also proved to be a challenge but I overcame it by keeping my head held high and remembering why I wrote the book in the first place.”

Lehlogonolo says she loves writing and sharing her thoughts and believes that writing is the best form of art. “I call my authorship ministering through writing because I believe souls are healed through reading.”

She left readers with the following quote: “Perspire to acquire your desire do not retire even if you feel tired, re-fire in order to acquire that desire which you admire.”

Her books are available at PNA Mall of the North, Lifestyle Books in Tzaneen, PNA Tzaneen Lifestyle and African Book in Braamfontein. For more information WhatsApp Lehlogonolo on 065 190 8217.
