POLOKWANE – A young man had died from injuries sustained during an apparent mob justice incident in Bloodriver near Seshego.
Seshego Community Against Crime and Gangsterism (SCAGAG) chairperson Vincent Kunutu told Review that the deceased was one of two men who were accused of a house breaking incident in the area.
Kunutu explained that residents caught the first man earlier today. “He was beaten and gave information that led the group to his accomplice, who was in a house nearby.”
A plasma TV was one of the items found on the premises.
Both men were severely beaten and we can confirm that the one victim died from the various injuries he sustained,” Kunutu added.
SAPS and local emergency medical services are still on the scene.
