POLOKWANE – An array of event are unfolding across the province as a build-up to the ANC’s 110th anniversary rally this Saturday.
The events which kicked-off on Wednesday (January 5) are part of an outreach program to the various various communities, sectors, royal houses and religious leaders in the province.
These activities include, the Lilian Ngoyi Memorial lecture spearheaded by the ANCWL, the Peter Mokaba Memorial events spearheaded by the ANCYL, Fundraising events such as the Presidential Golf Day and Fundraising Gala Dinner.
All activities will culminate in the 110th anniversary rally on Saturday 8 at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane where President Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver the NEC January 8 statement in front of a crowd of 2 000 accredited attendees.
The celebration will be live-streamed and broadcast across all social media platforms and those interested can tune in from 11:30.
According to ANC’s National Spokesperson Pule Mabe the party has noted a number of social gatherings which are not necessarily by the ANC being held in and around Polokwane. He called on those participating to observe Covid-19 regulations.
