Vooma vaccinations weekend: Health MEC takes vaccinations to the people
The weekend's Vooma Vaccination campaign comes after the province recording over 400 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24-hour reporting cycle.

LIMPOPO – Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba will take Covid-19 jabs to the people this weekend through the Vooma Vaccination drive.
According to a statement issued by the department the province recorded 422 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24-hour reporting cycle, 101 cases in Polokwane alone.
“According to scientists the new Covid-19 variant Omicron that has been detected a week ago in the country is, is always mutating, spreading fast and is behind the exponential increase in the recent Covid-19 infections, which is cause for concern,” says Ramathuba.
“The department will be open a total of 74 pop-up sites to vaccinate during our Vooma weekend.”
The Vooma Vaccination sites will be open between 08:00 – 15:00 and are scheduled as follows:
