POLOKWANE – This year, amateur golf players can look forward to golf lessons as a present under the Christmas tree.
These lessons, given by national coach Mike Baylis, are on special for the duration of December 1-25.
For adults the lesson costs R200 per lesson or R500 for three lessons.
The juniors and students will pay R125 per lesson or R500 for five lessons.
The lessons take place at the Ricoh Driving Range at the Polokwane Golf Club.

More about Mike Baylis
Mike Baylis, was recently appointed as the golf instructor at the Polokwane Golf Club.
Baylis manages all golf teaching activities, including the driving range and practice facilities at the golf club.
He served as national coach for Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi between 2001 and 2015. In Malawi he produced a team that finished second to South Africa in the All Africa Junior Golf Team Championships.
He was the head coach of the Zimbabwe golf team that won one gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the Special Olympics Games in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
