Another teen reported missing in Polokwane

The 17-year-old was last seen on October 20 in Webster Street. 

POLOKWANE – The police in the city appeals to the public for information on the whereabouts of Dimakatso Angel Mabatha.

The 17-year-old high school learner was last seen at her place of residence in Webster Street last Wednesday (October 20). 

Police spokesperson Sgt Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa says Mabatha left her residence the evening wearing a pair of blue trousers, a grey long-sleeved T-shirt and yellow sandals. “She is mentally stable and is 1.2m tall.”

Ramakgoakgoa says search operations have been conducted in the vicinity as well as at the friends and relatives of the missing teenager, without any success.

Meanwhile the police continue their search for  17-year-old Fiona Phetogo Maako who was reported missing last week.

Maako was last seen at a shopping centre in the Flora Park Suburb at around 14:30 on Tuesday (October 19).

Anyone with information on either of the teenagers’ whereabouts can contact the investigating officer, WO Peter Mangakeng on 082 728 9831. ALternatively they can also contact the 24-hour Crime Stop number on 086 001 0111 or send in a tip-off via the MySAPSApp.
