Kidnapping: ‘The pain of one in Nirvana is felt by all’

The close-knit community of Nirvana has come out in full support of their own in a period of extreme uncertainty and turmoil.

POLOKWANE – The kidnapping of the four Moti brothers has put to the test the strength and support of a community that has always had each others’ best interests at heart.

The community of Nirvana has in the past two days been a pillar of support for Nazim and Shakira Moti following the kidnapping of their sons Zidan (6), Zayyad  (11), Alaan (13) and Zia (15).

Well-known resident and community leader in Nirvana, Solly Hassan spoke to Review about the trials of the past two days.

“The community really cares for each other and the pain felt by one of the residents or families is felt by the whole community. We stand together.”

He adds that the incident tested the strength of the community and they will continue to support the boys’ parents.

“We pray that the kids are returned safely to their parents.”
