POLOKWANE – Emergency services and local authorities responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Thabo Mbeki Street earlier today.
The incident involved a bakkie and a sedan and happened at around 11:50 alongside Voortrekker Park.
According to an eye-witness both vehicles were travelling in the same direction when they collided, causing the bakkie to overturn.
The occupant from the bakkie sustained moderate to minor injuries and was treated on the scene by a local emergency service before he was transported to a local hospital. The male driver of the sedan and three passengers, including a toddler escaped unharmed and were treated on the scene for shock.
