Have you seen these missing men?

The three men went missing in separate incidents in the Northam, Tzaneen and Mahwelereng areas, respectively

LIMPOPO – The provincial police need the public’s help to find three men and who went missing in the Northam, Tzaneen and Mahwelereng areas, respectively.

35-year-old Hendrick Stephanus Venter was last seen the evening of September 4 at Plot 14 Deput in the Northam policing area. According to his stepmother he wore a a pair of brown shorts, a black t-shirt and flip-flops.

Venter’s family along with the police have conducted search operation at friends, relatives and surrounding areas where he frequently visits, with no success.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts can contact the investigating officer, Sgt Selolo on 0827581428 or 0825657611.

In Tzaneen, the police are looking for 32-year-old Lonnet Sekgobela who went missing on Saturday (September 25).

“It is alleged the victim left his parental homestead in Tickeyline, Ga-Sekororo village to visit a local tavern and never returned home. According to his family, he had left his cellphone behind and when they checked it there were a notification indicating that money had been withdrawn from his bank account and electricity purchased at Acornhoek, in Mpumalanga,” the police report reads.  

Anyone with information that can assist the police to locate Sekgobela can contact the investigating officer, Cpt Hopane on 0823199742.

Meanwhile the police in Mahwelereng have launched a search operation after the family of 20-year-old Tebogo Mmotja Ledwaba reported him missing.

Ledwaba resides at Masodi village next to ZCC Church in the Waterberg District was last seen by his mother at about 12:30 on Wednesday (September 22).

The police say the victim has a history of mental illness and had earlier this year left his home on two occasions only to be found at Pholotsie river in Sandsloot and Mogalakwena river in Moshate.

Attempts to search for the victim at relatives, friends and surrounding areas have not been fruitful and the police asks the public for their assistance to help reunite him with his family.

Police investigations into the disappearances of all three men are still underway.
