Put your weekend summer plans on ice, for now

According to SAWS the cold front will move over Limpopo this weekend. See the weather forecast for the week ahead here:

POLOKWANE –  Don’t pack away your winter woolies just yet. The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has predicted a sudden drop in temperature in parts of Limpopo from Friday.

According to reports issued by SAWS, this week’s hot weather will be followed by a cold and cloudy weekend. Cold daytime temperatures are expected to dominate the northern parts of the country from Friday (September 17), and over the weekend. 

In Polokwane, SAWS predicts a cool 22ºC on Friday, a chilly 17ºC on Saturday and a slightly warmer 20ºC on Sunday.

No rain has been forecast for the city but misty and cloudy conditions are expected from Friday onward. Temperatures are expected to rise from Monday next week.
