Kruinies learn about fires

POLOKWANE – What should be done when you are at an accident scene? How do you put out a fire?

These are just some of the questions Gr 1-3 learners at Curro Heuwelkruin got answers to when Rukka the fireman recently paid them a visit.

Rukka demonstrated how a fire starts and the do’s and don’ts when you are confronted by fire.

The children laughed with joy when Rukka demonstrated how a fireman gets dressed in the right clothing which helps to protect a fireman when they fight fires.

Rukka successfully got his message across by involving learners in his demonstrations.
