[TAKE NOTE] Yet another water supply disruption in Polokwane

This stoppage comes not even a day after Lepelle Northern Water stopped pumping from the Olifantspoort water scheme.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality hereby notified residents of yet another water supply disruption.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala says that this time the stoppage is on the Ebenezer water scheme. “The municipality has just been notified by Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) of yet another water supply stoppage due to emergency repairs that needs to be conducted at the pump station.”

LNW has estimated five hours from 08:00 until completion of repairs,” Thipa said.

The current stoppage will affect all areas of supply from Segwashi to Seshego and water supply will be restored once LNW team has completed repairs.

This stoppage comes merely hours after LNW stopped pumping from the Olifantspoort plant due to a leakage laong the specon pipe line.

Residents are in the meantime urged to use water sparingly. Water shortage are advised to contact the Water and Sanitation call centre on 015 023 5376 / 015 023 5629.
