POLOKWANE – The handover was done by the Gr 1 learners, as per tradition of the school.
Junior phase deputy head Sue Altenroxel explained that they normally have the ceremony in the theatre but due to Covid-19 it was moved outdoors in adherence with regulations.
“The envelopes are a good luck gesture to wish the learners well with the prelims and the final exams,” she said.
The Gr 12 learners also received a surprise at the end of the ceremony, when they were given invitations to the matric dance which will take place later in September.
