Empowered women, are able to empower women
Women will come together on August 9 for a session of sip-and-paint while mingling with other inspirational women.
POLOKWANE – This will be done at Indulge restaurant, where a women empowerment event will take place.
The event was founded by Sheryn Dikgale, founder and CEO of Masherzy Events and Katlego Ramabu, the founder and CEO of Indulge. The aim of the event is for women to come together to inspire and motivate one another. “In Polokwane, we do not have many events that focus on empowering women hence we are doing this. We wanted it to be something which is continuous and not necessarily relating to August only so we had the first women empowerment event on June 25, under the theme empowered women, empower women,” explained Dikgale.
The event is free, however, those interested are urged to RSVP as soon as possible because seats are limited in adherence to Covid-19 regulations. There will also be exhibitions and product displays. “Women who would like to showcase their talent are also welcome, this can be in music, poetry or any other talent they would like to share,” she said.
