Limpopo hails Miss SA Abigail Musida accomplishments
Limpopo leadership have applauded Miss SA 2020, Abigail Musida (25) after she obtained her BA degree in international relations from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).
LIMPOPO – Miss SA 2020, Abigail Musida (25) from Ha Masia village recently graduated with a BA degree in international relations from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits).
Musida told CV she managed to achieve this feat and her duties as Miss SA because of sheer determination, perseverance and hard work.
“Our dreams are valid. I never thought that one day I’d be sitting here, so to every single student who really feels like it’s tough, know this – you are going to succeed, and you are going to graduate.”
She said the pandemic has led to trying times and uncertainty for everyone.
The mayors of the Collins Chabane Municipality, Moses Maluleke and local chief, Livuwani Matsila applauded Musida for graduating.
“As the area’s traditional leadership we are so happy for her and we hope that this will motivate children from our villages to put in the effort that is needed,” said Matsila.
The Vice-Chancellor of Wits, Zabulon Vilakazi also congratulated Musida on obtaining her degree.
