Balance is key for this Cappie

The 18-year-old Kebogile Mokgoebo is prepared to work hard and make Gr 12 look easy.

POLOKWANE – Kebogile is the deputy head girl of Capricorn High School and she explained that she has never doubted in her ability to be one of the top four leaders and still do well academically. “It is easy because I came into this with the understanding that balancing would be key,” she said. She has proven over the years that she embodies beauty with brains by receiving awards of top achievement in various grades.

She shared that she is not worried about final exam because she started studying in January already to make sure that she does not get overwhelmed by the work piling up. As much as she is looking forward to spreading her wings, she is going to miss the team spirit and support that the school has.

When she is not at school, Kebogile can be found walking the ramp as a model, taking part in pageants and doing motivational talks. She was in the 30 finalist for Miss Teenager South Africa and was crown Miss Teenager Limpopo. “I am passionate about pageantry and I am also passionate about school because at the end of the day, I must have a career and at the same time do what I love,” she said. Other titles that she has under her belt are Face of Glam in 2017, Miss Cultural Heritage Polokwane 2018 and Miss Flora Park 2018.

Her advice to fellow learners is to study hard and study smart because there is no success without putting in effort towards achieving it.
