POLOKWANE – Several businesses located in the central business district have closed their doors, amid fears of looting.
Earlier this morning, businesses at the Seshego Circle Centre temporarily closed following threats of violence in the area.
According to reports, a group of disgruntled residents gathered at the centre this morning calling for residents to join the Free-Zuma campaign.

Fear has filled other business owners in the city and, as a result, numerous businesses in the CBD closed their doors for the day.

Shops in Landdros Maré, Market and Church streets have also been closed, however, there have no reports of riots or looting in the city.
A source confirmed to Review that Limpopo Mall is still open, despite reports that suggest otherwise.
SAPS and traffic policing officials are in the CBD to monitor the situation.
