[WATCH] Clean-up still underway in Mokopane after fatal truck collision

MOKOPANE – Emergency personnel and local authorities are still at the scene of an earlier truck collision which left a section of Thabo Mbeki Drive closed.

The collision between two trucks happened on the Geyser and Thabo Mbeki intersection at 02:30. One driver died while the other escaped unharmed.

Both truck lost their loads during the incident and as a result several intersections have been closed to allow the the scene to be cleared of debris. The affected streets are as follows:

Voor and Ruiter streets, JG Strydom Street, Totius Street and Hooge Street.
