On-site services temporarily stopped at Polokwane Traffic Department

The call centre will remain operational and staff members will work from home for the duration of the temporary closure, says the Polokwane Municipality.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Traffic Department and licensing centre in Ladanna will be temporarily closed to ensure safety among its employees and members of the public.

Municipal Spokesperson Thipa Selala confirmed to Review that the centre will be closed from today (June 28) until Tuesday, June 29 for disinfection.

“There was a positive case reported at the facility and the centre will only resume operations on Wednesday, June 30,” Selala added.

He added that in the meantime all calls to the call centre have been redirected to staff members who will work from their homes. “Callers are urged to exercise patience when calling the centre.”

Licensing services can be accessed from the Mankweng and Aganang offices.
