City-wide water shortages reported

POLOKWANE – Water shortages and low pressure have already been reported in areas of Ladanna, Ivy Park, parts of Nirvana, Southern Gateway, Westenburg, Moregloed, Flora Park, Legae la Batho, Mahlako a Phaahla Phase1, Serala View and Zone 1 in Seshego.

Residents living in areas where the is still water supply are urged to limit their water usage to domestic consumption only while the municipality attempts to restore water supply to the affected areas.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says the municipality is aware of water supply throughout the city and have deployed water tankers to the affected areas to provide temporary relief.

“We are also aware of water supply issues in Nirvana due to repairs on a valve along Excelsior Street. Water tankers will be deployed to provide temporary relief.”
