POLOKWANE – Capricorn High School Principal, Lucas Chuene thanked the learners for refusing to hide behind the Covid-19 pandemic to produce quality results.
Chuene was speaking at the school’s prize giving ceremony aimed at rewarding the school’s top 2020 achievers in all grades last Friday.
He said the learners worked hard in silence and sailed through the storm of 2020 and still maintained a high standard. “Irrespective of the challenges, the learners remained focused. They sacrificed their social life because they wanted to achieve their goal.”
He also thanked parents for the support they have shown to the learners throughout the year. “We can only succeed if we get maximum support from our parents.”
