Missing man last seen in Polokwane

The police needs your help in finding Samuel Kgatle (37), a mentally challenged man from Moletjie.

POLOKWANE – Samuel Kgatle (37) from Moletjie, in Chebeng village outside Seshego is reported to have a mental condition and has been missing since 19 January.

According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Mamphaswa Seabi and was last seen standing at the corner of Rissik and Kruger streets.

“He was wearing a pair of black jeans and a blue jacket. He is 1.5 meter tall and carried a backpack.”

A case of missing person is being investigated and the police appeals to anyone who has seen him or knows about his whereabouts, to contact WO Peter Mangakeng at 082 728 9831. Alternatively they can contact the 24-hour Crime Stop number at 086 001 0111, their nearest police station or via the MySAPSApp.

What to do when a person goes missing

There is an ongoing impression that you need to wait at least 24 hours to report a person missing. This is not true at all- there is no waiting period to report a person, including a child, as missing. You must go to the police as soon as you suspect that the person has been abducted or disappeared.
