Some of the most asked questions and comments.

Question: Vacancies and the system.

Leeto La Polokwane (LLP) bus service is a partnership between the City of Polokwane and current Public Transport Operators. The service is currently implementing the Phase 1A Operations which affects the Seshego and Polokwane Taxi Association (SPTA), Florapark Polokwane Taxi Association (FPTA) and Westenburg Taxi Association (WTA). In order to make way for the bus service, 125 vehicles from the affected associations have been removed and individual operators compensated for the a) vehicle and b) operating licence. As such, the jobs available from the Vehicle Operating Company (Esilux) have prioritised those people that have lost their jobs from the removed minibus taxis. All other opportunities will be advertised by either Esilux or the City of Polokwane.

Question: Routes and the system.

Leeto La Polokwane is rolled out in phases (phase 1 to 4) based on a household survey study that was conducted before the commencement of the project. The plan is to roll out the service in phases.
