POLOKWANE – The two learners who are harbouring aspirations of becoming top models beat 12 hopefuls who entered the competition to win the coveted titles.
The pageant formed part of the school’s efforts to give learners in arts and culture activities a platform to showcase their talent.
“Northern Academy prides itself in not only providing a quality education but also in providing sport and culture platforms where learners can discover and hone their God-given talents.
“We look forward to hosting many such events and giving more learners the opportunity to explore and expose their skills, talents and interests.,” said marketer, Makhanani Chabalala.
Risima said she is happy to win her debut pageant and is looking forward to entering more pageants.
“I did not expect to win the title. I gained a lot of confidence.
“Being at Northern Academy has not only helped shaped my future, but I believe I can go out into the world and do anything I set my mind to.”
