Polokwane police launch search for missing woman

The 32-year-old woman from Polokwane was last seen by her father at a mall in Gauteng.

POLOKWANE –  The police in the city have opened a missing person case, following the disappearance of Bianca Gerber.

The 32-year-old woman from the Doornbult area on the outskirts of Polokwane was reported missing last month, said Police Spokesperson, Const Maphure Manamela.

“Preliminary police investigations revealed that Gerber was last seen by her father at the Fourways Mall in Gauteng on 28 February,”she added.

Since then her phone has been on voicemail and police’s efforts to locate her at friends and family have been unsuccessful.

Gerber is 1.6 m tall and was wearing a white floral dress on the day she went missing.

The police urged anyone who knows of her whereabouts to contact the Investigating Officer,Warrant Officer Peter Mangakeng at 0827289831.

Alternatively they can contact the 24-hour Crime Stop number at 086 000 10111 or their nearest police station. They can also contact the police via the MySAPSAPP.
