[VIDEO] No arrests as Lahom gets robbed for second time in 3 years

Lahom owner, Thabo Mohale feels the men who robbed his store on Thursday morning, were involved in the robbery in 2018.

A frustrated Lahom owner, Thabo Mohale, answered the phone this morning when Review contacted him about a break in at his store on Thursday morning.

Mohale told Review that the robbery, which occurred around 05:00, is the second of its kind in three years.

“The store was robbed in 2018 by men who used the same modus operandi and at the approximate same time,” he explained. 

Mohale said no arrests were made following the robbery in 2018, and that he believes the same men were involved on Thursday.

Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe confirmed the incident to Review and said thousands of Rand in clothes and shoes were stolen.

“Anyone with information that could help in the investigation or lead to their arrests, may contact Det WO Gerard Naude at 072 553 4655,” he added.

CCTV footage provided to Review, shows how the men attack a security guard and later drag him into the store.
