Princess wears the bursary fund crown

One of the best performing learners at Northern Academy, Moloko Princess Serumula says the KFC Ikusasa Lethu Scholarship will catapult her to greater heights.

POLOKWANE – The industrious Gr 9 learner from Moletjie was given a scholarship, with 100% of her tuition fees paid.

The 15-year-old who harbours aspirations of becoming a gynecologist said the money will prompt her to work even harder.

“I am encouraged by the bursary fund.

This is a huge motivation for my entire academic journey.

“I want another one for next year but I need to work even harder to attain it.

I believe it is possible because hard work has never killed anyone.

I want to see more learners being beneficiaries of bursary funds

I am saying to them let us focus on our academics and always aim for excellence.”

In addition to the scholarship, she was also received a brand new laptop.

Principal of Northern Academy Secondary School, Frederick Romijn said they wish her the best for the 2021 academic year.

“We wish to remind her of these great words by our former President, Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
