Limpopo records 111 new Covid-19 cases and 121 deaths

The cumulative number of cases is 59 478. Here is a breakdown of positive, active cases and deaths recorded in each municipality:

LIMPOPO – According to the Limpopo Health Department, the province recorded an increase of 111 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

As of 10 February, the cumulative number of positive cases stands at 59 478 of which 56 314 people have recovered and 1 617 have passed away. There are currently 1 547 active cases of Covid-19 in the province.

Of the total, 38 cases are in-transit cases and 38 are unallocated cases.

In the last reporting cycle, the Capricorn district recorded the most new cases (34), followed by Waterberg (19), Mopani (17), Vhembe (15) and Sekhukhune (6).

To date the province has conducted a total of 220 573 tests, of which 86 587 were conducted in the public sector and 133 986 in the private sector.
