Limpopo Covid-19 cases surpass 59 000 mark

The cumulative number of cases is 59 090. Here is a breakdown of positive, active cases and deaths recorded in each municipality:

LIMPOPO – According to the Limpopo Health Departement, the province recorded an increase of 168 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

The cumulative number of cases is now 59 090 of which 55 893 people have recovered and 1 496 have passed away.

Of the total, 38 cases are in-transit cases and 17 are unallocated cases.

The Waterberg district had the most new cases (55) followed by Capricorn (37), Sekhukhune (33), Vhembe (24) and Mopani (19).

There are currently 1 701 active cases of Covid-19 in the province.
