Pipe burst to affect water supply in multiple areas

The Polokwane Municipality's maintenance team is on the scene.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality’s maintenance team has estimated that estates and areas around the Mall of the North and Thornhill, will be without water supply for around six hours.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala said the team is repairing a pipe that burst near Woodhill Estate.

“All affected users are urged to ensure that all taps are closed during this time to avoid loss of water once supply is restored. Areas receiving supply are urged to use water sparingly,” Selala explained.

He urged users to report any water-related challenges to the Water and Sanitation helpline at 015 023 5376 / 5629.
