Limpopo: 1 385 more Covid-19 cases

The number of cumulative cases is 37 108, of which 8 194 are active cases.

LIMPOPO – According to the Limpopo Department of Health’s latest statistics, 1 385 cases of Covid-19 was recorded in the last 24 hours. Two of the cases are unallocated and the majority of cases were reported in the Capricorn district (469).

The cumulative number of cases is 37 108 of which 28 237 people have recovered and 677 have passed away. There are currently 8 194 active cases in the province.

Of Capricorn’s cases, 404 were recorded in Polokwane followed by 34 in Lepelle Nkumpi, 21 in Blouberg and 10 in Molemole.

The Vhembe district had 330 new cases of which Thulamela had 146 new cases, Makhado 105, Collins Chabane 57 and Musina 22.

The Mopani district’s 290 new cases were recorded in Phalaborwa (112), Tzaneen (104), Giyani (57), Letaba 910) and Maruleng (7).

The majority of the Sekhukhune district’s 69 cases were recorded in Elias Motsoaledi (34). The other cases were recorded in Fetakgomo/Tubatse 916), Makhuduthamaga (12) and Ephraim Mogale (7).
