Limpopo’s Covid-19 cases stand at 35 723
Limpopo recorded a total of 1 773 new positive Covid-19 cases in the last 24-hour reporting cycle. Here is a breakdown of positive, active cases and deaths recorded in each municipality.
LIMPOPO – According to the Limpopo Health Department’s latest statistics, the province has 8 593 active Covid-cases. This after the province recorded a further 1 773 new cases in the last 24-hours, bringing the total amount of positive cumulative cases in the province to 35 723.
Of the 35 723 cases, 26 453 people have recovered from the virus and 677 have passed away.
Of the new cases reported, the Capricorn district recorded 6234 new cases, the Vhembe district also saw a sharp increase with 4441 new cases, followed by Mopani district with 2324 cases. A total of 253 new cases were reported in the Waterberg district and 120 cases in Sekhukhune.
