POLOKWANE – Ho, ho, ho it’s the most wonderful time of the year. For some, Christmas is all about getting together with their loved ones, while others enjoy the festivities surrounding the holiday season.

Hlamkile Sebola: Great company. This is a time I use to socialise with all my childhood friends after a year of being scattered across the country. During this time, we tend to fill each other in on what happened to us during the year, and I have a feeling we will have a lot to talk about this year.
Family. Family is the only thing in this world that you have at the end of the day. They will love and support you no matter what. Spending time with loved ones makes all the difference.
Friends and family. Under normal circumstances we would arrange to go away on vacation to celebrate the year that has passed. Christmas is a time I prefer to spend time with friends and family.
Spending time with family. It really does not matter what you do on the day, as long as you are surrounded by family.
A visit to the farm, my dad’s leg of lamb and my mother’s samp with watermelon for dessert. This special day concludes with a wonderful swim in the farm dam. With us, Christmas is marked by the precious time we can share with family and friends.
Good food. Food makes Christmas what it is. As a chef, I will be spending my Christmas cooking for my family.
Family. My mother always goes out to cook a great meal that we sit and share with family over Christmas. I cannot remember spending a Christmas without my family and food.
Christmas Music. Boney M covers the classics with a beat and it’s impossible not to enjoy your Christmas evening with a lovely dinner and Christmas lights shining in the background on a tree that is surrounded by presents – all given with love. There is nothing quite like singing and listening to Christmas carols and music!
