Blessings all around

Merry Christmas to you all and a prosperous New Year.

Even though the world is faced with the Covid-19 pandemic, people across the world will gather to celebrate Christmas on Friday, 25 December, and while people of all religions mark the Christmas season in their own way, it remains a holy time for Christians. It is a season of joy and celebration, of peace, harmony and rejoicing. A time when we should refocus on the message of Christmas: peace, harmony and tolerance. These values are the foundation of our society. The year-end holiday has become a common time for people to take time off. On behalf of Polokwane Observer, we want to wish our respected readers and advertisers, who continue to give us positive feedback, a blessed festive season. We have also had a good response to our website, www.observer.co.za, and we would like to thank every person for every click. You are the ones who take hands with us to ensure that we deliver an excellent product. We would also like to thank all our contacts, contributors and advertisers who continue to engage with Polokwane Observer in a friendly and productive way. You have been real stalwarts, so a big thanks to all. Merry Christmas to you all and a prosperous New Year. We will continue to serve our community with our first edition on 14 January. We will be back in the office on 6 January.
