LIMPOPO – The province has recorded more than 30 road fatalities since the beginning of December and Transport and Community Safety MEC Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya is calling on all road users to work together to limit the fatalities this festive season.
The rise in road fatalities has been attributed to reckless and drunk driving and the MEC says law enforcers will apply a zero tolerance approach to anyone who do not abide by the road rules.

In an earlier statement, Lerule-Ramakhanya expressed her concern about the number of fatalities on the province’s roads in the first week of December. 15 People lost their lives in a period of 48 hours alone.
