LIMPOPO – Three people sustained serious injuries and two killed after a minibus crashed on the R578 near Hlaneki village outside Giyani.
The Transport and Community Safety’s Media Liaison Officer, Mike Maringa, told Review that 11 others escaped with minor injuries when a taxi they were travelling in hit a stray animal, lost control and overturned.

“The taxi driver is among those that were rushed to Khensani Hospital in a critical state,” Maringa said.
The Transport and Community Safety MEC, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, has sent messages of condolences to the families of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
