2 killed, 1 seriously injured in incident on R578 near Giyani
The driver of the vehicle lost control and the vehicle overturned, killing two people instantly.
LIMPOPO – Two people were killed and one person seriously injured following an incident on the R578, between Hlaneki and Maswanganyi villages, near Giyani.

The incident occurred at around 22:30 last night, 16 November, according to a statement by Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“The police in Giyani are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the motor vehicle crash. It is alleged that the driver of the vehicle lost control and the vehicle overturned, killing two people instantly and one person survived with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for medical treatment,” Ngoepe explained.
He said police investigations will determine the cause of the incident and that the process of identifying the deceased is still underway.
