Limpopo’s Covid-19 cases at 17 883

Of the 17 883 cumulative number of positive cases, only 333 are active

LIMPOPO – According to the latest figures issued by the Department of Health, the cumulative number of postive cases is 17 883. Of these cases, 17 074 people have recovered and 333 are active cases.

A total of 476 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded to date. In the last 24 hours, 15 new cases of the virus were recorded. The Waterberg districts recorded eight new cases each, while three were recorded in the Capricorn district. Mopani and Vhembe districts recorded two new cases, respectively.

Thus far, 116 131 tests have been conducted of which 61 498 were done in the private sector and 54 663 were done in the public sector.
