Yellow level 4 thunderstorm warning issued for large part of the country
The areas include parts of Limpopo, Gauteng, North West, Free State and Mpumalanga
LIMPOPO – The South African Weather Service has issued a yellow level 4 thunderstorm warning for the south-western parts of Limpopo, the eastern North West, eastern Free State, western Mpumalanga as well as Gauteng.
They say this may lead to heavy rain which can cause flooding, hail and strong winds.

Areas in Limpopo to be affected include Mokopane, Modimolle, Mookgophong, Lephalale, Bela-Bela, Thabazimbi, Elias Motsoaledi/Groblersdal and Ephraim Mogale/Marble Hall.
Other areas of the country that have been issued with the warning include Lesedi/Heidelberg, Westonaria, Randfontein, Govan Mbeki/Secunda, Pretoria, Nokaneng, Delmas, Meyerton, Balfour, Johannesburg, Emalahleni, Kempton Park, Carletonville, Tweefontein, Standerton, Krugersdorp, Middelburg, Vereeniging, Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp, Lichtenburg, Mafikeng, Parys and Rustenburg.
